for the past 26 years…. our story

We started off in a small location at the Forks Market. Our original menu was small and consisted of a few coffee choices.

It became very clear, very quickly that there was a large majority of customers that loved tea.

Over time, with many conversions with our customers, we realized there was a need to expand our menu.

At that time, we decided to change our menu to offer specialty tea options, which was a game changer for Human Bean.

The response from our customers was huge because we now had a variety of different coffee and tea beverages to choose from.

Not only were the drinks delicious but they were healthy and no one in the city was doing what we did.

To this day, we enjoy speaking to our customers and finding out what they enjoy to drink.

We take pride in offering quality customer service that makes people feel at home and that they left with a quality product.

The Human Bean Coffee & Tea you see today is a mixture of the old and the new.

We are located in the heart of the downtown SHED (Sports, Hospitality & Entertainment District) at Cityplace.

We offer coffee and tea beverages along with healthy smoothies, a large variety of pastries and healthy food options to go. All food is made in house daily. We feature different salads (with home made dressings), sandwiches, snack packs and warm up food options.
